overview
For this project, I collaborated with Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU) to create a series of four animated videos for social media.
Together with their partners at Academy Health, ISPU had conducted research on healthcare disparities affecting Muslim communities. The goal was to turn that research into something more immediate and human—stories that could resonate with providers, workers, and patients alike.
We developed four short animations, each based on a different real-life scenario, designed to highlight how bias and inequity can show up in everyday healthcare experiences, and how more inclusive care is possible.
Approach
I approached the series as a set of intimate, character-driven moments. Instead of over-explaining, the animations focus on small interactions, body language, pauses, to let the stories speak for themselves.
Visually, I worked within ISPU’s guidelines while simplifying forms and compositions so each piece could read clearly on mobile screens. The goal was to create a consistent system across all four videos, while allowing each story to have its own emotional tone.

Let’s work together!
If you’re working on something meaningful, I’d love to connect.
